Board of Governors approves year-long ban on H1B visa hires

Earlier this week, the Florida Board of Governors passed a year-long ban on H1B Visa hires of new employees for Florida public universities.
This ban will directly affect all Florida public universities' hiring cycle for about the next year.
WUFT reporter Madison Ginsberg has been following this ban. I spoke with her earlier about it and began by asking her for a "refresher" on what the visa program is about.
