It’s been more than one month since the earthquake in Haiti. While many camera crews and reporters move on to other stories, still many questions linger in people’s minds. There are questions of faith and tragedy as people grapple with one major question, why? Dan Katz and Amy Rigby discussed issues of religion and spirituality in the aftermath of Haiti’s earthquake with two religious leaders. Jennifer Smith, a Protestant missionary who spent eight days in Haiti after the earthquake and Father Jeff McGowan, pastor of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Southwest Gainesville who has been to Haiti several times before the earthquake.
