UF Health Cancer Center’s goal is to find answers for its patients with extensive research and renovations. U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho visited the center on Wednesday to learn about its work.
“Our purpose is to find out about the research and development that they’re doing. These guys are on the cutting edge. University of Florida is leading, what I feel, the nation in so many different areas,” Yoho said.
UF Health Cancer Center has more than 250 researchers and clinicians who conduct research for early diagnosis treatment and prevention of cancer.
UF Health Cancer Center doctors hope that this visit will bring awareness of the extensive research being done at UF.
