Ever since going on-air in June of 1992, the RRS has regularly broadcast the reading of articles, books and more to about 800 blind and visually impaired persons. Readings are broadcast to listeners via internet audio stream at https://wuft.org/rrs

The service offers weekly readings on a variety of topics from the news of the day to the latest grocery specials and even in-depth features. Radio Reading Service brings local and regional newspapers, websites, books and magazines to listeners in a unique way, keeping them in touch with their communities and the world.
