Gainesville Police search for missing and endangered man

Gainesville Police are searching for an 83-year-old man last seen at the Arby’s on SW 13th street last night.  Jack Hill has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia.  Hill went to McDonald’s on NW 13th Street at 2:00 PM yesterday and failed to return home.  He was then seen at the Bo Diddley Downtown plaza at 6:00 PM and Arby’s at 8:30 PM.  Hill went missing several years ago and was found in North Carolina and Virginia.

Jack Hill is a white male, 138 lbs., 5’8’’.  He was last seen wearing a beanie style hat, an orange jacket, a green shirt and black socks and shoes.  He uses a walker and has a long white beard.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Gainesville Police.
