FBI involved in Ocala Police officer arrest

An Ocala police officer is facing charges related to aggravated identity theft and fraud after being arrested yesterday morning. Ocala Police Department Chief Samuel Williams says Officer Dana Brown will go through the court system like any other arrestee.

Williams says this is the first time someone in the department has been arrested during his eight years of service as police chief.  Brown is also charged with conspiracy and other offenses relating to the use of computers.
