The University of Florida Phi Mu Alpha chapter sang "America the Beautiful" in Turlington Plaza Wednesday to support those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing.

Students for Concealed Carry at the University of Florida is organizing its third annual empty holster protest, where members wear gun holsters without weapons in them to protest the concealed carry ban on campus.

University of Florida students and area organizations are working to spread awareness about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by holding rallies in Turlington Plaza.

UF, and the city of Gainesville, hosted multiple events on Tuesday to honor and remember the victims of September 11. On campus, the Lubavitch-Chabad Jewish Student Center and the Lubavitch-Chabad Student Group hosted a "Good Deed Mitzvah Marathon."

A viral video turned into a flashmob on UF campus. Members of the Korean Undergraduate Student Association gave a tribute to the music video "Gangnam Style" on Aug. 31.
