The United States Olympic Committee was in North Central Florida Monday, visiting Newberry's Easton Sports Complex to consider its archery facility for a role as an official Olympic training site for the 2016 summer games.

Florida Congressman-elect, Ted Yoho did not sign the "No Tax" pledge written by lobbyist Grover Norquist. He said signing the Norquist pledge would have left him too strictly bound to do his job the right way.
