Director of the UF Global Health Education Program for the UF College of Medicine, Dr. Elizabeth DeVos, says, "Every year, over a hundred faculty and students from UF participate in spring break medical mission trips providing services to under-served communities and also allowing our students to work with medical students abroad and non-profit organizations abroad to understand better cultural competencies that help to make them better doctors and pharmacists in our communities here."
