Opponents Launch Salvo Against Marijuana Amendment

Opponents of a ballot initiative to legalize medical marijuana gave a glimpse of their strategy Monday by releasing a video alleging the measure would lead to a plethora of "pot shops" similar to the marijuana industry in California. The video, posted online by the"Vote No on 2 Campaign" also compared the proposal to a medical-marijuana initiative that Florida voters narrowly rejected in 2014.

Citrus Forecast Improves But ‘Trying Times’ Remain

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's monthly forecast predicted that this year's Florida orange harvest will be enough to fill an estimated 71 million boxes, an increase of 2 million boxes from February. But, even with the revised forecast, the season remains on pace to be the worst for the citrus industry in five decades.
