Gainesville High School’s marching band wins state title

After more than 4 long months and 2 long days of hard work, the Gainesville High School Hurricane marching band  has won the state competition.Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Catherine Awasthi reports how constuctive criticism turned this group of marching students into champions. Yearly dig unearths fossils and more

The Florida Museum of Natural History hosted a volunteer fossil dig from November 11-20 at the Thomas Farm site in Gilchrist County.
