University of Florida Dream Defenders and UF Students for a Democratic Society protested outside O'Connell Center Friday night.

Hundreds of protesters blocked off traffic at the intersection of University Avenue and 13th Street in Gainesville on Monday evening.

A 15-year-old Gainesville High School student has been charged from making false bomb threats to the school on Nov. 9 and 10. GHS received three identical bombs threats, one of which led the Gainesville Police Department to evacuate all students to a nearby Planet Fitness parking lot.

The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is renovating the City Auditorium and renaming it The Reilly Arts Center. The renovations are part of the "Reinvent Tuscawilla Park" project, which aims to attract more people to the community.
