According to a 2016 survey conducted by the American College Health Association, 52.7% of students surveyed reported feelings of hopelessness and 39.1% reported feeling so depressed that it was difficult to function during the past 12 months. We spoke to six campus mental health activists about student mental health issues and the resources available for students in distress.
