Shell Elementary students are reading the book "Jason and Elihu" in an effort by teachers to get kids back into reading.

The 49th Annual Old Florida Celebration of the Arts will be Saturday and Sunday in Cedar Key where visitors can see art by over 160 artists.

The festival's theme is "Pass Along Plants," and the event will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 24.
