UF Study Sheds Light On Spending Choices During Pandemic

Researchers asked roughly 1,000 Americans how they spent or planned to spend their stimulus checks, which they received via the CARES Act. The data indicated people spent their checks on food more than any of the other nine predetermined categories, which included shelter and savings.
