Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM Morning Edition host, Glenn Richards, spoke with Bear and Lion of the Gainesville group, Bears & Lions.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with Bears & Lions, followed by The Duppies around 7:00 p.m., Hedges (with some Heavy Petty) around 8:00 p.m., and as always, wrapping up the event with the Gainesville Community Band under the direction of Gary Langford at 9:00 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks show (around 9:40 p.m.).
LifeSouth Blood Center will be conducting a blood drive.
For safety reasons, no dogs, sparklers or alcohol are allowed at the event.
Coolers are allowed, but may be subject to search by the University of Florida Police Department.
