Former Gators Linebacker Arrested On Charge Of Attempted Sexual Battery

A former Gator linebacker is accused of attempting to sexually batter and falsely imprison a woman in his apartment.

Daniel McMillan, 23, was arrested yesterday at his apartment after a woman accused him of exposing himself to her. According to the Gainesville Police Department arrest report, she was there for “legitimate professional reasons.”

According to the arrest report, after McMillan exposed himself to her, the woman became uncomfortable and tried to leave.

He continued to block the locked door and allegedly groped her, saying “It’s okay baby, it’s okay baby.”

She then kicked McMillan in his groin and was able to get out of his apartment, calling the police upon her escape.

GPD charged McMillan with attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment.
