UF Senior Pitcher Frank Rubio’s Four-Year Journey

By

Frank Rubio joined the Gator baseball team as a freshman walk-on during one of the best recruiting classes in Gator baseball history. The senior pitcher endured a tough four-year journey to become a valuable leader in the 2017 season.

Rubio, the only senior pitcher on Florida’s roster, is expected to lead the team in appearances for the season. He is one of three upperclassmen to come out of the bullpen. Rubio has had a rocky start with just two appearances on the season, but has an opportunity to get back on track against Miami this weekend.
