Gainesville Regional Business endorsed Commissioner Craig Carter for reelection to the Gainesville City Commission for District 3.
“Commissioner Carter’s excellent stewardship combined with his problem-solving approach have earned him a second term,” said Executive Director of Gainesville Regional Business Kamal Latham, in a statement.
Before the endorsement, all filed candidates for the position completed a detailed questionnaire and participated in an interview by Gainesville Regional Business.
“With this endorsement, we recognize Commissioner Carter’s non-partisan approach of tackling issues head-on in a candid manner,” said Eric Godet, chair of Gainesville Regional Business, in a statement.
Gainesville Regional Business is non-profit, non-partisan political committee aimed at promoting business-friendly candidates, issues and initiatives in the Gainesville region, according to the statement.
