Nelson Armas was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday for the first degree murder of Hannah Brim, a 23-year-old Gainesville woman who has been missing since Jan. 19.
Brim was last seen in a car with Armas, according to earlier reports. Armas quickly became a suspect following Brim's disappearance, said Gainesville police spokesman Ben Tobias.
Armas was also indicted for grand theft auto and tampering with physical evidence, in addition to first degree murder. He is currently in custody at the Alachua County Jail on unrelated charges.
