CDC Director Talks Zika: How To Stay Protected

The Florida Department of Health reported there are two new non-travel related cases of Zika yesterday and both of those cases are located outside of the one-square mile area of the Wynwood neighborhood, where officials still believe active transmissions are occurring.

That brings the total of non-travel related and locally transmitted cases to 35, with a total of 577 cases in Florida.

As health and government officials, Floridians and tourists grapple with how to prevent the virus from spreading even further, WUFT News' Alexa Lorenzo speaks with Centers for Disease Control Director, Thomas Frieden, about why Zika is so difficult to contain.
