Hundreds Gather For Orlando Shooting Vigil At UF’s Century Tower

Hundreds of people gathered Tuesday for a vigil remembering the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting held on the University of Florida’s campus at Century Tower.

The bells rang 49 times — once for each victim — as Diana Moreno, from UF Hispanic-Latino Affairs, read the names and ages of the victims.

Speakers at the ceremony, including UF President Kent Fuchs, called for unity and strength.
