Woman’s Body Found at Campground in Lake City

A 29-year-old white female’s body who police said was killed was found Monday at a Lake City campground.

Police found an unresponsive female lying on the floor of the Inn & Out RV Park, located at 3010 US 90 W in Lake City, according to a Lake City Police Department report.

Officers arrived at with Lifeguard Emergency Medical Services, who pronounced the female dead, the report said.

The female was killed by within the previous 36 hours when she was found, according to a preliminary investigation by the Lake City police and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Her identity will not be released until the family is notified.
