$3,000 Reward Offered For Information On Beating Of Five Star Pizza Driver

The owners of the Gainesville Five Star Pizza are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for beating and robbing one of their drivers late Friday, according to the Gainesville Police Department.

The attack occurred at Granada Apartments, 1800 NW 4th Street, as Five Star Pizza driver Jason Case was returning to his car after midnight when no one answered his knock to deliver a pizza.

The announcement of the reward was posted on GPD’s Facebook page Tuesday .

Police said Case could not provide a description of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about the case to call GPD Detective Tom Mullins at (352) 393-7619. Information can also be submitted anonymously by calling GPD’s tip line at (352) 393-7700, or by texting keyword GPDFL plus a tip to 274637.
