Video: Cofrin Nature Park Reopens, Showcases Improvements

By

On Saturday, Gainesville residents and officials celebrated the reopening of Cofrin Nature Park.

The park, which was closed for six months and has been under construction since 2013, held tours to showcase the park’s improvements.

Among them is the new path of the park’s creek, which was altered to help prevent erosion.

“Seeing people walk down the trails,” Habitat Naturalist Don Musen said, “that’s what I’m most excited about.”
