Photos: Alachua County Residents Enjoy First Weekend Of Fun At Annual Fair

The Alachua County Fair had its opening night on Friday, October 23, 2015.

Residents and visitors traveled to the fairgrounds located at 3100 NE 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. People of all ages crowded the tree-lined lot in search of family friendly entertainment.

The fair offers a wide range of rides and attractions, such as a Ferris Wheel, carnival games, live music, animal displays, and many types of food.

The live music lineup includes PSD, Dirty River Band, HotRod Lincoln, Tropical Whiskey Band, Loose Change, and Cowboy and the Engines.

This year's fair will continue until Saturday, October 31 and will feature special events such as a beauty contest, food drive and karaoke night. For more information visit the fair’s website at www.alachuacountyfair.com.
