Florida secured the victory by forcing a Vanderbilt turnover on the ensuing possession, after which the Commodores fouled Florida’s Chris Chiozza (11), sending him to the free throw line where he made both shots.
The Gators are now 6-7 in conference play, and 13-13 overall. This season, the team has lost 6 games by 2 or less points.
