State Pushes For An Increased Number Of Foster Homes


The number of foster homes required each year by the Department of Children and Families drives Gainesville-based foster agency Partnership for Strong Families to meet their goals. This year DCF is requiring 30 new foster homes in Florida.

Kristy Sutton and her family have fostered eight children, all under three-years-old. The parents also have four biological children of their own.
