Columbia County Parents In Court For Custody Hearing

The parents of two Columbia County girls held in connection to their 16-year-old brother’s fatal shooting appeared before a judge Wednesday in a child custody hearing.

No charges will be filed against the 11-year-old, but charges are still being considered for the 15-year-old, according to Third Circuit State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister.

The Department of Children and Families is currently going through the police report on the case. The report details years of alleged abuse against the children in the home.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
