Kidnapped Therapy Dog Returns In Poor Condition

A therapy dog that disappeared seven months ago from a Lake City home has been reunited with his owners, thanks to the help of Lake City Police Officers.

Although the Christie family says they are relieved to have everyone back under one roof, it is not all good news. The family is concerned the chocolate lab Hank wasn’t treated well in his time away.

Dr. Marie Leslie at Caring Hands, the animal hospital that will be doing Hank’s procedures, has helped the Christies start a fund for his medical expenses. Anyone wishing to contribute can donate directly to Caring Hands in Hank’s name. You can also personally donate to their Go Fund Me account.
