Gainesville Mayor Craig Lowe has entered a not-guilty plea for his DUI charges, according to the Gainesville Sun.
Lowe was arrested March 21after he crashed his car early that morning. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, he blew a .061 and .069 on a blood alcohol content test, which was administered about four hours after the crash. Given the time frame, this could mean he was above the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Lowe was released from jail on his own recognizance later that afternoon. He is set to appear in court on April 11for his arraignment.
