  • Travelers on State Road 121 and U.S. 441 are cautioned to drive carefully. High smoke levels around the area are still being cleared from the debris fire that started last Monday.
  • About 500 University of Central Florida students evacuated a residence hall Monday morning due to a suspicious suicide in the building. Police found an assault weapon and several explosives in the building.
  • Officials said fires damaged at least 35 cabins in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and the area was evacuated. Officials believe the fire started from another cabin at a nearby resort and spread to Pigeon Forge, a family vacation destination in the Smoky Mountains.
  • Iran’s nuclear program is expected to top President Obama’s visit to Israel later this week. Israel has repeatedly threatened to act militarily if Iran is close to obtaining a nuclear bomb.
