The Keira Grace Foundation is a local charity with the goal of bringing treatment to juvenile cancer patients in developing countries. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Chip Skambis spoke with former University of Florida and professional wide receiver and self-described entrepeneur Chris Doering about his recent trip to the Dominican Republic on behalf of the organization.

The Keira Grace Foundation is hosting a fundraising event at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on March 3rd called “Share the Cure 2012: The Results Show.” The event will showcase advances being made through the nonprofit’s campaign, “Deliver the Cure: Dominican Republic,” which is working to save the lives of children with cancer.
