The Affordable Care Act has helped 2.5 million adults between 19 to 25-years-old, according to a new study by the National Center for Health Statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The agency held a phone conference today to discuss the plan, which allows young adults to stay on their parents' insurance coverage until they are 26, instead of paying for individual plans, which many believe are costly.
