NTSB wants to prohibit cellphone use behind the wheel

The National Transportation Safety Board recommended that all states ban cellphone use behind the wheel. Although the board has no legislative power they are the first federal agency to call for an outright prohibition on telephone conversations while driving.  Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Juliana Valencia spoke with Gainesville Police Department Traffic Safety Team Officer Sergeant Joe Raulerson and University of Florida students on their opinion of texting and driving.
