Ocala Police detectives are working to confirm the link between the accused serial rapist and another victim that came forth yesterday. Ocala Police Department Sergeant Chas Maier says there were many similarities, including the victim’s description of the attacker and the details of the attack. A 25-year-old female says she was attacker in early April around the 500 block of Northwest 6th Terrace. Maier says it is difficult to tie all the cases together because so much time has passed, but it is still important information to gather.

Ocala Accused rapist Michael Alan Frye is currently charged with sexual battery and kidnapping on two attacks in Ocala and two in Marion County. He is also suspected in one attack in Gainesville.
