Another prescription that is being found to heal patients is through the arts. Shands Arts in the Medicine hosted “Faces of the St. Francis House” portrait exhibition. Paintings were done by local artists. Artwork will remain on view from July 7th through July 29 at Shands Cancer Hospital at the University of Florida. WUFT’s Dina Lewis talks to one of the featured artist Marley Plomer and talks about how Plomer began painting.
