Alachua County residents are divided over the proposed Veterans Transitional Housing Facility. A number of residents spoke up against the project yesterday at the Alachua County Commission Meeting. Those in favor of the facility urged residents to consider the debt owed to veterans. Gainesville resident of almost 40-years, Robert Kaplan-Stein, says he loves veterans but doesn’t support the project.
