Construction on South Main Street in Gainesville nearing completion

After more than a year and a half of road closures in downtown Gainesville, drivers can now able to drive from Main Street to Depot Avenue without detouring. Main Street Reconstruction project spokesperson Laurie Windham says the reconstruction is on schdule to be completely finished by early summer, as there are still a few minor adjustments to be made.
