Cedar Key prepared for future threats a year after oil scare


Cedar Key is improving its emergency management to deal with a worst case scenario. WUFT-FM’s Stephanie Brown spoke with Cedar Key Mayor Pat O’Neal who says when the Gulf oil spill began one year ago today, the city realized it was unprepared. He says oil never actually hit their shores, but the local economy has yet to fully recover.
