With the United States entering into another conflict, students in Alachua County are getting a chance to express themselves on the situation. However they aren’t talking about war, they are talking about peace. The second annual Peace Poetry Contest entry deadline is tomorrow and students across the county are sending in poems to try to win first place. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Phillip Marks tells us why the youth of Alachua County are so interested in peace.
