This weekend begins the 5th annual Melrose Spring Art Festival. This open air arts event brings in over 60 artists from around the state to participate in a paint out and sell their work. The festival celebrates Melrose’s culture with local businesses, restaraunts, musicians, and artists joining together. The event brings in over a thousand people from around north Florida. This year proceeds from the event will benefit the Blue Path organization to help save Florida springs. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT FM’s reporter Natalie Beigel spoke with the executive director for Florida’s Eden, Annie Pais, about the event.
