County begins planning international trip

By

The Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce is planning a trip to China in October for the second straight year. Chamber of Commerce Spokeswoman Brittany Batsell says the trip is a great opportunity for chamber members as well as Marion county citizens who have signed up to travel with the chamber.

“They get to experience everything from the historical China and climbing the Great Wall and seeing the Great Wall to experiencing the economic development zone and contemporary angle of China,” she says.

Batsell says it is also a great opportunity for businessmen to meet with their Chinese counterparts and set up possible trade partnerships. The trip is scheduled for October 15th to 23rd.
