The final vote for District 3 candidates won’t be decided until runoff elections

The results from the Gainesville City’s Commission race leaves two District three candiates, Susan Bottcher and Rob Zeller, to go head to head until runoff elections next month. Susan Bottcher says if she gets elected, one of her main goals will be economic development and job creation. Former candidate Ozzy Angulo may not have won, but he says he still has hopes for next year. Run off elections will take place on April 12th. Rob Zeller could not be reached for comment. Susan Bottcher won with 41.86% of the votes (1154 votes) and Rob Zeller came in with 30.72% (847 votes).
