State high court ruling supports Governor Rick Scott’s decision on the Florida high speed rail

The Florida Supreme Court says Governor Rick Scott does have the authority to kill a proposed Central Florida high speed rail line. There was a a bipartisan suit against Scott’s refusal of the federal funds. The Florida Supreme Court gave the case priority because the U.S. Transportation Secretary gave Scott a deadline to decide whether he would accept federal stimulus money for the project.
