Alachua County is looking for partners for fairground property

By

Alachua County is looking for businesses to partner in the development of the new county fairgrounds site. Earlier today WUFT FM’s T. J. Villamil spoke with Alachua County Assistant County Manager Rick Drummond about the proposal and how it will allow businesses to help redevelop the old fairgrounds site in East Gainesville, and help to expand the local economy. Drummond says, they’re excited about the approach they’ve decided to take on the project, and hopefully soon they will find a partnership.
