UF researchers strive for a better course of therapy for Alzheimer's Disease

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than 10 million baby boomers will soon have to cope with Alzheimer’s Disease. Projections are by 2030 that figure will jump to about 16 million. This is a health concern that touches many American families, as researchers continue to look for therapies to cure the disease. Dr. Todd Golde is the Director of the University of Florida’s Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease. He talked with WUFT-FM’s Dan Katz about his just published report on Alzheimer’s research in the journal, Neuron.
