Alachua County high school students scored the highest in the state on the S-A-T college entrance exam for the third year in a row. Alachua county students scored 170 points higher than the Florida average and 140 points above the national average. WUFT-FM’s Samantha Taub spoke with Alachua County superintendent Dan Boyd about the continued success. Alachua County’s total average scores rose five points this year, while both the state and national averages rose three points.
