Funding for AIDS drug assistance at risk

Though no changes have been made yet, Governor Rick Scott and the Department of Health could eventually be making changes in eligbility for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. After hearing this, Music icon Elton John, who founded his own AIDS foundation, wrote to Scott urging him to protect the program helping low income AIDS and HIV patients. Earlier today, Samantha Taub spoke with Alachua County HIV and AIDS Supervisor Bobby Davis about why this program is so important and how it helps many people throughout the state.
