It has been 25 years since Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida. WUFT invites you to spend an evening with Senior Hurricane Specialist Bryan Norcross – “the man that talked South Florida through” the great hurricane of 1992.
Presentation and Q&A begins at 6pm in Gannett Auditorium in Weimer Hall, followed by a reception and book signing.
Meet UF Meteorologists Jeff Huffman and Cyndee O’Quinn and take a “behind the scenes” tour of the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network (FPREN) Storm Center.
Event is free and open to the public. Signed copies of “My Hurricane Andrew Story” by Bryan Norcross will be available for a $20 donation to WUFT.
